3m Protective Film For H-1 Lights

I am lucky enough to have bought two great sets of H-1 headlights on ebay over the past five years.

After having a rock crack my windshield a few weeks ago (thank God it was not the hood), I thought, what if this happened to the H-1 lens? A guy on ebay is selling a great 3 M film that is rather thick and alleges that it can take a stone at 80 mph without the glass cracking. I put it on (easy) you cannot really see it at all and may successfully alleviate another flying rock disaster.

If anyone needs more information, please post that inquiry and I will post it.
