I'm interested! Did you buy the one day ticket and are you staying over? You guys driving up from Lauderdale? I can meet up there, as I'll be coming up from Miami.

yes we have the 1 day ticket and the porsche corral pass.
the corral only holds so many porsche's, so it does sell out quickly.

we tried to get a hotel and all are sold out within a 75 mile radius, even
    the small bed & breakfasts.

So we will be leaving weston / I-75 at 6-6:30am and go up 27 to Sebring.
There are 3 early 911's confirmed so far.

Yep, those hotels book up years in advance as do the RV spaces around the track. One hell of a party on fri night. Bring a lawn chair and watch the drunks. The next best thing to Mardi Gras!

We usually make it to the track sometime on Thursday to claim our spot at the track and get in the proper spirit to enjoy all that is Sebring. Mardi Gras has nothing on Sebring. 12 Hours of racing and 72 Hours of anything goes.
I wouldn't miss it for anything!

930 in Sebring Porsche Corral '06

I drooled over this sweet ride in the corral last year...
I suspect it belongs to one of us on this board....?

Nice 930.... Have not ever heard anyone here even mention the "T" word as far as personal ownership of a forced induction flat six......but I just recently caved in to my wife's desire to be the first female in our area to be driving her own 930.... she picked out a very nice, lightly driven '83 RoW 930...the prvious owner (a Dr.) had been bringing it in to the p-car shop she works at for the last 15 yrs....he finally "fell out of love with it" as she says, so she just had to have it....

Didn't mean to highjack this thread....just wanted to share...

Does that picture really belong on this early 911 s registry website? It's a slippery slope, do we want to go down this road?
