Thumbs up Track day at 'the STREETS'

To follow up on the thread that Ray C. started....

I think it's a GREAT idea... weekday or weekend

There is also a few of us that are able to instruct...

I'm ALL OVER IT ! ... just as long as there is one run group that can go as fast as they are safely able...

Which brings me to this weekend's POC 'Short Track Series'...
For those who haven't been, or just want to go for a nice ride to the high desert.... A few of us, Chris T., Lars W., and I will be running the first 'STS' of the year. I believe Chris and Lars will be there both days and I'll be out on Sun. .... come out and see what it's all about...and see what some old 911's can do .... We'd love to see'ya …..

    Cheers,

If I might make a suggestion. Tag onto the next Alltime Racing trackday and get our own run group. Tim Herren, who runs it, would probably be very amenable to it. Commit 12 cars, he limits his trackdays to 25 so you end up getting a lot of track time.

Why not join 7 356's and 15 912's for a very fun day at the "Streets" on March 28th. There will be 6 instructors and track time until you can't lap any more. It's a Wednesday.

Do you have any specific details like "whom to call" and "how much"?

Johnny, would you show this old dog around the SOW?? I thought the track was great, the big track looked very cool, but we could not run on it. Jack O. and I had a great time on the short track, take care

At the risk of a thread hijack...

ACRA has an upcoming date at the big track...next week, 7 February. They are just SCREAMING for entrants - $145 including chow.

Go to www.americancarracing.com for the full gouge. They also have a low cap on # of drivers = tons of track time with zero or minimal traffic concerns

My engine's not quite finished yet, so I'm sitting this one out...

    cheers
