    "Rough Yellow Bird"

The rally circus came to town this weekend. Believe it or not, there were 2 early 911's entered! This isn't a vintage rally, these guys are running against current Subaru WRX's and Mitsi Evo's ..... Both cars were 73's. One DNF'd yesterday and I didn't get any pics. The other was called Rough Yellow Bird ......

The 911 was a real crowd favorite. And the best-sounding car by far!

I used to run VW GTIs but now I'm building a '73 911T.......if I ever get it done it will look as much like a period correct ST as the rules will allow. I'm going to run a 2.4L MFI in group 2.

    Cool pics Curt.....

He had some sort of driving lights (looked like PIAA's) in the headlight bucket with a piece of flat plexiglass over them.

The orange WRX is Racemor's buddy from North Carolina who won Production GT.

    Aaron - a GTI won G2.

Hey Jeff ......yeah I think it is Chizma's old car. I actually have that 2.5L at my shop. It still has that cheezy tail pipe on it from Ojibwe when they had to run a catalytic converter!

I'll PM ya......I'm pretty sure we know each other and I have some questions about the 2.5L.

Curt.....yeah the GTIs are great G2 cars but I hope the 911 works better.....
