    1972 911S Sunroof Coupe

Here is a link to an interesting 911 listed for sale in Atlanta. I have no knowledge of this car other than the photos and descriptions but thought someone here might be interested in following up on this.

I am interested to hear observations. That seems like a lot of dough for a car that although appearing "all there", needs a LOT of attention in clean up.

Yeah that was part of my motivation for posting it. I think it is a bit over priced with a non-running engine and a not too exciting color, but it does seem to be a complete car without significant rust issues.

So why don't we play this one against Tracy's silver '69S coupe. It is a bit difficult to do because we don't have the photos of that car that we have of this one, but it too is a long term stored car with a non-running engine. Certainly the positive of the '69 is the color and known history. So what might the value difference be?

If this car is at the Liddell Drive address that's given for the dealer, I'll check it out at lunch one day next week. Its about halfway between my home and office. I'll let you know what I find.

I wonder what happened to the original seats?

Why would you say they aren't the original seats?

They don't match well to the rest of the interior?

Price seems high for a lot of "unknowns" and a ho-hum color.

Does anybody know what sort of panel sits between the rear bumbers, is it for a special exhaust system?
