    WANTED: 10/11, 12/13 & 17/19mm wrenches for '71 tool kit

Looking for 3 missing open end wrenches for the tool kit for my '71:

    10/11 mm
    12/13 mm
    17/19 mm

The wrenches should state "drop forged steel" and "Germany" on their sides.

    Thanks,

    John

I have a bunch of spares laying around. I might have what you need. Let me check my toolbox on Monday.

What kind of condition are you looking for? If I do have them, they are used ... as in, I used it last week on a customer's car.

    "Germany" or West Germany"

Should they say "Germany" or West Germany"? I've seen both. Which is correct for early 911s?

Decent shape would be fine, and thanks for checking. A picture would be ideal.

I thought that was odd as well, but the wrenches in my '71's kit say "Germany". While I'm no expert, my research on this and Pelican indicates that is correct (for at least '71, as I didn't really research other years). The tool experts can chime in and clarify.

    Cheers,

    John

I have the 10/11 and the 12/13. Sorry, can't help you with the 17/19, but I did see one listed on Ebay just last night.

PM me with your e-mail address and I'll get you some photos of the wrenches I have. I'm not sure what they're worth, but I'm sure we can work something out.

Thanks Marco - I've just PM'd you my email address. I'll check Ebay for the 17/19.

Anyone else have a 17/19 mm wrench?

    John

I might. I'll check tonight and let you know.

The 17/19 I have is marked Selected Special Steel and West Germany.

    Sorry,
    Alan

Drat! Thanks Alan. The 2 on Ebay also say "Selected Special Steel" (vs. "Drop Forged Steel") and "West Germany" (vs. "Germany").

    Anyone else able to help?

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.
