    1973 911S on Ebay

There is a yellow S on Ebay "LemonDrop". Has an Early 911S sticker in the window. Anyone with personnal knowledge about the car?

    Unhappy

I was the second in line for the chance to buy this targa a few weeks ago. The last owner was quite honest with fairly extensive records and seemed to be knowledgeable as far as this car went. The price was $25,000 and when he told me I was the second caller - I knew I was too late. Car was listed on the PCA site and was located in Livermore, Ca.

Sellers should never honor first right to obvious flippers. I am see too often that the old school PCA guys are underpricing their cars and this ends up being the result.

On my car, I was second to the table, a flipper was first. The seller sold it to me for the price he and the flipper agreed to. Guess what, I still own my car. I will be following his good example if my car ever goes on the block.

Money talks and BS walks...and ignorance is bliss...

No offense, but if I didn't frequent this board and didn't have the knowledge I do now, I don't know if I could pick off a flipper vs. a non-flipper...the Registry sticker would indicate that the seller was happy with his/her sales price...

At least we see that relative deals are still out for the lucky ones...

The sticker looked like the Weltmeister sticker, was the Registry decal removed? The Grille badge looks like a PCA badge.

I like the tool kit-->i.e. blue handled, Crecent adjustable pliers; I think those are for adjusting the angle of the bottle opener also pictured...

That car is closely related to my car, then! My car has serial number 0035, and this one has 0036. Does any of you know what engine number it has? I wonder if it could be equally close to mine?
