Thread: WTB; I need a "clip"

    WTB; I need a "clip"

The rear turn signal housing attaches to the body with two screws. For the screws to bite there has to be a "clip" on the metal lip that the screws go thru. I need one of these "clips".

Can anybody sell me one or advice me where to get one?

    John,

I may offer you the advice of getting the Porsche PET disk that will allow you to search for part numbers on all items for your car.

You can then call many vendors and just provide them the part number.

    Good luck with your project.

Go to any car audio installation place, they will have thousands of them in the "back". Most aftermarket speakers come with them and they don't get used.

Any good hardware store will have them too, usually stocked in pull out drawers near all the metric bits.

    Hi Bob

I have the PET but I cant find it. I am not sure of the English name for it but could it be "U-nut"?

EDIT; I found it, its called "klips nut lock" in the English PET. I had to do a search for "nut" and there was a lot, and of course the nut I was looking for was one of the last hits in the search ! I almost went nuts

    Anyone have one of these?

Hey John, a side note, I don't have the reflector that you were seeking. I have a housing but no luck. I will look tonight for the clip.
