    Day trip to nirvana

Ed Mayo and I took a drive to the state of sensory overload today, and I felt it was only fitting to share some of this with you. I will not go so far to say it could not have been better, but it was still very good.

    Talking

First let me say that the issues with the servers kept timing me out last night so I was unable to get more posted in a timely manner. I will continue to post pics from our visit to David Moore and his shop in Austin, TX. David was a gracious host and has a wealth of knowledge about these cars. I have had the privilage of being among many great cars from time to time. Rarely do you get the opportunity to see a group such as this and also get to go climbing all over them. Ed, Stefan, and I had a great time, (still don't know why Stafan took so many seat pictures ). Now some more pics.

This is a very historic Porsche race cars, and in fact could be the most winning Porsche chassis in history. It starterd life as a race car in europe in 1972, came to the IMSA series and ended its professional life as a 993 bodied car in the Speedvison World Challange. It is now back in its IMSA formand livery.
