    Visors

    Have searched for a while now for sun visors for my 1973 911S. All I find are the all black ones but not the black/white combination that were used in 1973. Does anyone know of someone that restores the oringinal ones?

    There was a tech article written by the 356 registry guys on this a few years ago. They opened up the visor on the seam, replaced the foam, then superglued the edge back together. They were resprayed with vinyl paint. I saw the pics, and they looked great.

    Uh boy. I hated the crappy looking white on my visors (which were in perfect shape) because they were stained, so I vinyl painted them black. Oh well, I'm very happy with the result and that's all that matters. In hind sight, however, I shoulda tried a little harder to bring back the white huh?
