NEITHER do I, unless you count the day at Ca. Speedway, when the Early 'S' group sped around the track a few times...

I'll try and drum up a few more recruits.

    first timers welcome

    Stacy,

This is NOT like the Parade laps at Cal Speedway. NOTHING like it. You will ask what took you sooo long to get out there. I PROMISE. Just ask Chris T. and Lars...
This is the chance to go to the track with no worries. I would like to give the first timers the first session, spaced SOOO far apart, standard track rules (pass on the left, with point by) you will have no stress while on the track. Not worrying about the other drivers. Drives as fast as you want, your own pace.
You can have someone ride with you, if you want. Do a "ducks in a row" around the track to learn the lines. It helps me to follow someone.

This is just a day to get together with some friends at the track, take your car out and some fun in a safe, controlled environment.

Invite who you would like, does not have to be a Porsche owner.

    Run whatcha brung.

    Cool

Ray, sounds good, thanks for the explanation, sounds PERFECT. The RS will probably be in cosmetic hibernation, so the "S" will have to do; OR, I may bring the 997... Hell, why not????

My advice is to run with someone knowledgable in your car as long as possible to help you find and stay on the racing line. It's a great track that will elevate your driving skill considerably with the proper instruction. But the racing line is far from obvious because many of the turns have a late apex.

You guys running CCW? Or will the newbies get a taste of the chicane drop-in?

Have fun! Can't wait to see the pictures.

Now, if I could figure out how to play hooky from work...

My nieghbor Steve would like to join us too.

No really...only 5 more drivers needed.
Several members have told me they cannot commit soooo far out. Work schedule will not allow them to plan out into March.
IF we get the 20, and the others can come out to drive, the price will be reduced accordingly.
