Thread: Well no 'NLA' plates for me...

Well no 'NLA' plates for me...

'NLA' was.....well NLA. Probably on a Duesy or something more appropriate anyways.

Thought about '901' but instead opted for 'ONRAMP'. Hopefully it doesn't come off as snooty or 'gold chain' or boy racer.

I saw it on Pelican and it occurred to me that one of the first reactions i had to my car was 'holy cow on ramps are fun!' so i figure it fits. Kind of a condensed way of saying 'i really enjoy turning and accelerating in a brisk fashion!'.

Here it is on a 73 RS owned by a Melbourne doctor who used it as a daily driver. (Pic taken at 40th 911 anniversary celebrations in Melbourne a few years back).

Baretta, those onramps are to die for bud. I'm so there with you on that one. It's almost like something strange takes over ya when the onramp approaches huh? Gotta be the most fun a P-nut can have with his clothes on.

Chris how did you do that?

I think that RS is the first time is noticed 'NLA' on a car. DEFINITELY a more deserving owner of the tag!

Paul i don't think i'll ever forget the first time i really put my foot down on an onramp. It was somewhere just off I95 on my way back from Ga. with the car. BOY what a sound! Not terribly fast but oh so fun!

Thought of a non 911 related one, that will take a sec or two to figure out - but it goes with the current medical lexicon "NO ED"

The only thing better than on ramps are the on/off ramps forming a clover leaf. Great way to scuff those new tires in, way better than figure 8's in a parking lot. Way more fun anyway. Also a great way to check the sporting fortitude of a new girl freind .

I used to have "LETZGO" as a personal plate that I carried over from My big block 69 Camaro SS. There was not a Corvette that would go by my little Porsche with out reving up their engine. I sure surprised many with a down shift to third and a hard stomp on the throtle. Funny how quickly they lose intrest past the tripple digits. Those oversized turds !
