    Door panels I like

Just going lightweight door panels now.
I have some abs panels from AndyJboy here in the UK
Also have the fiat black plastic pull handles.
These are going to last about 0.002seconds before breaking.

    What do others do??
I've seen that you can use MGB handles from 68-71 that look similar.
But I'm not sure about the look.
I don't like the later 964/993RS (America) style pull handles - they don't look right on an early car IMHO.

I do like the examples below.
Any ideas how they were done??

And avoid putting them on latemodel (door bar) doors.

Hey, that top pic is my car!

Those door panels came out of my black car. I made them about 15 years ago and are holding up fine. The grab handle is nothing more than a strip of leather bolted to existing treaded holes in the door.

The door latch pull is a piece of old purse strap I "borrowed" from my mom! I looped it over and attatched it via late model door pulls... like the RS Americas had... Still holding up fine, no problems for 15 years!

    Thanks for the info Endo..

You really should post some more pics of the car on this board - it's the best one out there! IMHO

I second that Chris. And I never even noticed the door pulls until now...
