    seatbelt setup 1971

In my 1971T there has been installed a non original set of seatbelts, that are attached to two "eye" bolts in the floor underneath the seat towords the rear. I wont to install a original or original look set of seatbelts instead.

Can anyone help me with pictures of an original setup and how the seatbelts are attached to the floor/seat/seat rail? I understand you could both have a lap belt or a 3 point harness?

I have a WTB add for a set on the Parts sales tread.

    Thanks Karim

Do anyone have even more close up pictures of both sides of the seats so that I can see how they attach to the seat/seat rail (or floor if thats correct)

This is my somewhat early(feb-mar-apr-) '72 E it has three point harnesses. The belts connect in obviously three places.

    1. Outer side of the seat base -permenant connection
    2. Inner side of the seat base - the clasp/receiver is here--

(shown in photo; the Outer side connection is done the same way; with a tab from the seat base and a short bolt that is put in from the opposite side)

    3. The upper door post-also a permenant connetion.

Very good, now I understand how they should be connected.

Do anyone know where I can get the tabs for the inside and outside of the standard seat? If someone have a detailed picture I could also make them myselves.
