Here are two other period pictures.

1972 2.4 S
1973 Carrera RS 2.7 (last series).

They are in the same spot as the catalog.

In the years before that I think that every dealer or importer did what he thought to be right. I do have pics of two mist lights just under the engine lid on the inside of the overriders.

Where the rear fog light Hella or Borsch? I see that most lights showed or sold here are Hella but recently two Borsch units where sold in the FS section.

The Porsche supplied rear fog light for 911s was Hella.

The lamp is correct but, Porsche used a different non swivel mount with a nut plate that was mounted behind the license plate panel. Hope this helps.

Thats correct Raj. The lens has a sligtly different shape on the edges compared to the scematics, there is a early and late version. I think I have both at home. I will take some pictures and post them.
