cue the music: da duh, dun dun de da duh, da da de dun de dun de da duh.

they're ready for your viewing pleasure.
and quite nice if i say so myself.
i think the silver background is spot on.
    details to follow.

    Bob,

    Those are gorgeous!
In a previous post, didn't you say you had the device which would punch the VIN?
I don't know if I would even bother trying to replicate circles in the background unless I had a small sample piece to practice on first.

    Beautiful work!

    Robert -

Very nice!! Which one is correct for a 1970 Karmann coupe? Will you also be supplying the punch to create the number? Great job!

    Very nice!

Now, can you do personal requests on the weight? I've got a racecar that would look great with GVWR 1900 LBS

here's one i did fast, applied to my kitchen counter.
they need to be trimmed down a bit, due to printing constraints.
the self destruct embossing is straight forward.
the hard part is the vin imprint.
as you can see it's not the neatest.
    i don't have a machine. it's done by hand with a needle.
i've tried different things, different sized pins, heated and not.
the smallest paper punch is 2 mm so that's out.
they came out so nice, i'm considering using one as is.
i'm not out to fool anyone about originality, but it would add to the restoration.
i'm open to suggestions and opinions from the group.

A hobby type CNC drill, like the ones used for wood hobbies, chucked up with the proper sized drill bit would work nicely.

i apologize for the crappy example above.
i "did it up" in about 20 minutes.
the plain stickers themselves look great.
kenik, i'm not sure a drill would work, it might tear the vinyl.
but as you can see the pin method isn't so good either.
i've got some superfine drill bits on order and will try your idea.
but i think the answer will be to make a custom hole punch.
my first attempt at that was good, just a little too large.
    keep the faith.
