    Any Interest in a ...

    '68 SWB Vintage Race Car?

    • Due to both economics and shifting priorities, I don’t see myself going racing all that often. My choices are to either sit on this car, prep it for the rare event I’m able to get to, OR find a new home for it and let someone else get maximum use/enjoyment out of it.

    • This car was built from the ground up as a dedicated vintage racer, built to the vintage “late 60s-early 70s” classic configuration - to be “as raced” from that time period…No real modern updates - other than safety gear: Bare metal repaint of a 912 shell.

    • In today’s 911 market, It would cost you well over $65k (conservative estimate) to duplicate this car alone…so, save big and buy this WHOLE PACKAGE – tweak it the way you want, and still come out ahead. This is a GREAT starter vintage race platform for a rookie 911 racer (like me…)

    • Please PM me with any serious inquiries, questions, etc. Happy to chat offline.

    Homemade,
Based on the holes in the passsenger front bumper, is there a front oil cooler set-up on the car as well?

    Cheers and luck,
Thanks for the vote of confidence, mate...y'know when all's said and done; "The Homemade 911" may very well wind up staying right here!

My premise for this whole manuever is to somehow turn this wonderful track car into an equally wonderful street Porsche of some description...so that I may spend more quality time - road trips in a Porsche - with my 8 year old adopted son. Dat's the deal, right there!

That said, taking the time and making this beast street legal (barely) ain't a stretch either. However, my druthers would be to see this car stay trackside, however...

Off to a serious job interview...have a great day!
    Cheers
