Question on Originality - or non-originality

I just broke a headlight and found out that it was not an original lens. Turns out it's a Marchal E2 Amplilux. I have always like the light these put out (and on a side note, I could never figure out why people complained about their H1's cuz I thought that's what I had). They illuminate well, and they look really cool from the front as well (only the bottom half illuminates on low beams).

So some nice fellow enthusiast put me in touch with an expensive, NLA replacement. My goal is to have fun with the car but keep it original. Do I:

    a) get the replacement and shut up (much $$$ and wait time)
    b) purchase H1's
    c) purchase H4 replacements from Pelican (<$60.)

I would most appreciate your opinions.

    David

    d) Purchase and install H-4 replacements; Acquire and store a set of Marchel E2's.
