Thread: WTB: Headrests to suit 1968 911S

Mmm... I already have 356 headrests, they do fit, but are the wrong shape, would like 911 ones... may be cheaper to buy new seats...

That is weird. Can you post some pictures of your 356 headrests? The 356 headrest from at least 56 on (my old A coupe had them factory installed) and my 911 seats share both the same style of headrests. There is only a subtile difference in the brackets that I am aware off.

Those are the 356/911 brackets. Can you post a picture of the headrests you have? It seems that the headrests are incorrect for 356/911.

The correct headrests for your ROW 68S are shaped like headrolls. There is a company in Europe that sells the headrolls complete with brackets mounting harware etc (but without upholstery covering) for around US$350. If you are looking for this, I can try to track the vendor down.

The headrests are correct for the 356, but incorrect for the 911. I have seen the 911 headrests - the 356 one are rounder and more cylindrical - the 911 ones are more oblong and irregularly shaped. I left my 356 ones in the mechanic's shop as I want to sell them, so no pics possible.

Erwin up till the summer of 67 headrest 644.521.085.13 was used (W191). This is the 356 headrest. May be an other style was available for MY67 only? I would like to see some pictures if you come across one.

I had another 68S in the shop and the headrests were different to the ones I've got. Can I confirm that the headrests are the same?
