OOHH Yeah. I'm watching this one real close. Pretty much same story as my car but, mine was stored in a very dry storage unit in Bakersfield. Mine wasn't original paint but, original 75 repaint to black. I might even have a deeper interest in watching this one

I think you can count on the seller not sugar coating the deal. I noticed he's left the NY State inspection sticker in the windshield. Not exactly a selling feature, but it explains the rust.

That kinda jives with what the seller told me. Two owner up till he bought it last summer. Deck lid is steel he said. He wasn't able to tell me he had any real history on the car, receipts, maintenance log, manuals etc. in response to several pointed questions. The sill repairs look...unique.

    No Suger coating

I can't believe he didn't attempt at all to clean and polish the car prior to taking the pictures. I would think it would clean up very nicely.

Looks like it a very nice basis for a concorse restoration if your budget permits.

I find that refreshing in an odd sort of way. It does appear to me to be pretty original in my pics but, the rust demon is lurking huge I think.

Seeing sales like this makes me think that the buying public has grown soft on modern cars, which don't rust. People have simply forgotten what a pain in the neck (and wallet) it is to deal with rust buckets.
