    Anyone know the current value of 5.5x15 Mahle Gas Burners???

    I just sold a set of 5 for $1600. Its the VW guys who want them. The set I sold were in good condition, but needed to be refinished.

    ....thanks...that's about what I was thinking they were but had not seen any sales lately...about $300 to $400 each.

    yes I have a set of 5 from my 1971 Targa that is just resting waiting for repaires...

    I haven't really decided what I am going to do with the Targa yet so I was just trying to get a value on the Mahles...I was thinking about parting the whole thing out...but you know how it goes...I just got my 66' 911 running and have put 34 miles on it in the test run....it's doing fine so the 71 may be the next quest...but before I do anything on the 71' I need to service the race car first for the coming season.
    Really I need my head examined...three 911s are too much...not enough time to work on one much less three.

    I have a single one with a new Michelin tire, I'd sell for 400.
