Blaupunkt Code Info

About 3 years ago I was told that Radio code 9326 (as it appears on my cars invoice), was a Blaupunkt New Yorker (but I don't know the source), see this thread:http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ead.php?t=4422

After almost 3 years of searching, I've found one and I'm getting ready to make a hefty investment in one with the correct date serial number for a 1968 car.

However I'd appreciate it if someone could confirm that radio code 9326 is indeed for a Blaupunkt New Yorker before I go ahead and buy it.

Appears to be what you are looking for - I suspect the accessories brochure for '68 MY cars to use the same order numbers.

Thanks John, one other thing, my car also came with an automatic antenna, but apparently the New Yorker has no separate cable for that function, which makes no sense.

Any ideas anyone?
