Vasek Polak Frames - Real or Replica?

    Guys,

Is this VP Porsche frame an authentic one? I know about Hermosa and Manhattan, but was the Porsche operation ever in Redondo? I know he had the collection stored there...

never heard of VP being in RB and the frame seems upside down at least from usual frames. thick part is usually on bottom and thin part on top.

...they were on PCH, close to the pier.

    California DMV

In good ole' Cali, the frames were small on top, fat part on the bottom, so as not to cover the mandatory 'year' and 'month' annual renewal stickers.

About two years ago everyone made a run for these. I know some that paid as much as $750.00 per frame cover.

I could never understand the thrill, unless the car was bought there and one is trying to look 100% correct. Of course, at that point one needs the correct keyring and many other times to keep that theme true.
