I've never seen the piece underneath those two cap head screws. Should my '72 have those, and are they under all of the caphead screws that secure that seatmount to the body? Thanks

    Dave and Clyde,

I have those double hole pieces on my April '73 as well...

The part # for the 'cheese head screws' is:

    900.119.042.02

M6x15 - it says you need 28 of them

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers,

I've bought those from Stoddard in the past. Both the Allen and Hex Heads.
Paul D has spoiled me from re-plating anything.

PS: The thing-a-ma-jiggies that "spread the load" are easily made. They are '73 items from my recollection.
