    Moving to Phoenix

Hi, I'm moving from Detroit to Phoenix by summertime. I've enjoyed the people/events in the Southest Michigan chapter of the PCA as well as all the folks in the 356 Registry here. How are the "goin's on" in Phoenix? i.e. car shows, rally's, track events, good rerpair shops, Saturday morning coffee chats and/or other stuff. Of course I look forward to the auction circus in January. I'll be driving my low milage, ex-California 1971 911E Targa (tangerine). Also lookin' to "pop the top" a lot more often on those evening drives. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and suggestions....Leon

Welcome! There's plenty to do out here but things slow down a lot in the summer heat. The Arizona Outlaws(356 Club www.az356outlaws.com) meets the first Sunday of every month for coffee and chat at The Coffee Plantation at the Biltmore shopping center. There's a car show at the Pavilions every Saturday and open track days nearly every weekend in the cool months. Several good shops to take care of your car too.
