    I think the GA is actually a G in the special gear ratio chart I have, but it looks like a nice box

    “Standard – special option”
    Transmission numbers 7390001 to 7390002 – Looks like Porsche made TWO of these. What is your transmission number – 1 or 2?

    Gears:
    B = 14/37 = 2.643
    GA = 18/32 = 1.778
    M = 22/29 = 1.318
    T = 26/26 = 1.000
    Y = 28/23 = 0.8214
    R&P = 7/31 = 4.428

    Does it have a LSD?

    Best,
    Grady

    I'm on the road so I don't have the number at hand.

    My 901 Transmission is orginal for my '67S and had A,GA, M, S, X, but not noted on the Kardex. I think the gears were changed when the car was converted to a track car in the 60-70's. The "A" is being changed to a "B" along with the normal transmission bits & pieces during the overhaul to match the taller topend.

    The 901/75 was the only close match in the Pre-'69 transmissions and wanted find more information.
