    early owners manuals & other paper stuff

    1) '66 owners manual in German. someone has written '65 on the cover, but it is indeed VIII 65. one "turn" of the plastic binding missing & several entries in the first section are underlined w/ a few neatly written notes. otherwise excellent condition. original printing, not a later reprint. $75 postpaid.
    2) '68S owners manual in German. I/68 a couple of "dog eared" pages in the back technical section, othewise near mint. original printing, not a later reprint. exceptionally nice. $150 postpaid.
    3) '69S owners manual in German VIII 68. small chip to right edge of front cover, otherwise near mint. original printing, not a later reprint. $90 postpaid.
    4) '68 color chart, near mint. $85 postpaid. SOLD
    5) '72 accessories catalog. from the Sportomatic, to the Sport seats to the 85L fuel tank & space saver spare, it's all here. interesting to note that in those days this option also included a compressed air cylinder to fill the space saver spare. handwritten 'model 72' on front cover, otherwise near mint $150 post paid. i also have the '71 edition of this piece. both SOLD
    6) 959 Special Edition Certificate from Porsche Motorsport of North America.
    it reads:
    Porsche Motorsport North America hereby acknowledges that (space for name) has taken ownership of a special limited edition Porsche 959 Sport Version on the ______ th day of ______ at ___________________
    In compliance with NHTSA regulations this vehicle is not certified for use on public roads in the United States.
    there are areas to record Chassis, Engine and Transmission numbers and finally this would have been signed by All Holbert and Peter Schmitz. there is a large embossed crest at the center bottom. 40 cars were originally destined for this program, but the order was cancelled. near mint $100 postpaid.
    prices include insured postage to any U.S. address. elsewhere slightly higher.
    happy to answer any questions, post additional pix etc. 100% satisfaction guarantee as always. thanks for listening.

    72 sportomatic parts list

    Hi Jerry,

    Before you pack the 72 parts list, could you check if there is a part number for 'option also included a compressed air cylinder to fill the space saver spare'

    Thanks,

    Cees

    hi Cees;
    the listing reads "...85L fuel tank w/ space saver spare". in the photo of the trunk of the car the air cylinder is also pictured. the photo may be older and is being "recycled" for this year ?
