    1967 rear seat delete question.

In Morgan's book only 1965 options are listed and the delete is not mentioned. Was this option offered in 1967 on a standard 911? I read a recent Excellence article on a 67S that had a 'factory' delete?? If so what all was deleted, how should it look and what type of material was use to cover and trim out. A description would be very helpful, a picture would be GREAT.

I have no problem with the theory that all men are created equal.
But after that moment you are on your own and nobody owes you a damn thing.

    Hi Mark,

Interesteing you should ask, this because I think the rear seat delete typically added a package tray, like the one you gave me. Want it back?

Rear seats were only deleted in the race cars OR if you had the rear parcel box. No regular production 911 would have had just a carpeted area. Hope this helps.

Have a look at the '70 S that Ray Crawford has for sale at the moment.
Not OEM but a very nice way of doing rear seat delete .

    Cheers,
    Dennis.
