Thread: Found in a small town in Northern California

Found in a small town in Northern California

Uncovered this one in Qunicy. It had been sleeping under two car covers,
in the back of a garage for eight months. Not a drop of oil on the floor.
I wasn't in the market for another classic sportscar, but this was too
    good to pass up.

It started right up, but ran too rich. Car came with records back to 1980.
It's very solid with poor door gaps on drivers door. Nice 10' paint job.
    Very solid, no rust!

Snow started again as I left for the 300 mile trip home. Suspension is from
89 Carrera with Bilstein struts and "A" calipers up front. 21/26mm tors bars.
This will make a nice driver after a little tlc!

Sweet! Nice find and nice color. The snow on the ground makes it even better.

My plan for the leaf green cutie is occasional daily driver/classic car tour
use. I've been working on it for a month and it is close very close to being
ready. Hoping to do the Iron Bottom in a few weeks..........
