Do original '67 spark plug wires have any value?

I'm reviving a 50,000 mile survivor '67 911S, and I am about to replace the original spark plug wires (with burgundy red tips) with what are supposed to be factory Beru replacements. But the new Berus are black and don't look original at all. Should I keep the old original wires around or am I being silly? My car is completely unrestored, and I'd like to keep as much of the original "patina" as possible while still making it an enjoyable driver.

They are not highly valuable, but probably not the kind of thing you can pick up the phone and order. They are definitely original, however. I would put them aside and use the modern Berus, although these should be carefully checked for cracks and resistance (even when new) due to QC issues. Ditto if you have an old brown cap.

Be careful: the rubber insulators on the ends of the brown connectors will come off inside the cylinder heads and wedge themselves so you can't get the plug out. You should retrieve six in total. If you don't have six, get out a flashlight and a mirror, they are down there somewhere.
