    WTB: bumper parts

I need the left hand side mounting bracket that attaches the bumper to the battery box on my 71T.

I also need some clips that goes on the frontfacing brackets that the bumper is attached to. These clips contain the nut that the screw that holds the bumper goes through. I also need some of the special screws that is used to secure the bumper.

    Can you help me?

I have a pair of brackets but the nuts have been removed. The nuts are not too hard to find DIN 557 nuts are what I used for my resto and they are perfect.

You also don't really need to used the original fasteners the mount the bracket to the bumper unless you are pursuing absolute originality. They have a special head similar to torx.

    Hi Bob

I hope you can help me. In the picture is the broken bracket and the point where it is supposed to be bolted on(outside of the battery box). Is this the bracket you have and can you sell it to me?

The last pic is the large bracket for the bumper mounted in the front of the car, is it supposed to be bent like in the picture?

    Hi John,

The brackets I have are the large middle ones. I don't have any of the ones that mount to the battery boxes.

The middle one that you have should NOT be twisted as you show in your picture.
