I have been corresponding with Dave at TRE regarding options for bolt in rollbar, 3 pt seat belt options, and 5/6 pt harness.

This is a pic of one of the set-ups he offers. The metal bar across the parcel shelf serves as a more secure anchor point for the belt/harness. I'm not sure how it actually installs, but I'm sure Dave can go in to more detail. I'm still debating how to make my car safe for the street and DE.

    I hope this helps.

Resurecting this thread from earlier this year - with particular regard to the mounting of the rectractable reel on the rear parcel shelf...
Did any of the previous contributors go ahead and do it ?
    Are pictures available?.
I am planning to track down an AUTOFLUG harness and give it a go myself

    Thanks

I think they started those anchors on the rear shelf in '68, because mine has them. My '67S had the shoulder belt anchor in the side quarter below the opening rear window, so they weren't located on the shelf before '68, AFAIK.
