    fuel cap spring

    hi, does anyone out there ever had a problem replacing the small spring that fits under the gas cap door lever, i know it sounds minor but i am haveing a heck of a time getting it in position, i think there must be a knack to it any help will be appreciated, thanks, frank

    Hi Frank,

    With the wing and filler neck still on the car it is not an easy job. Perseverance is required.
    If it becomes really hard remove the filler neck and rubber seal so you can then get your hand up underneath. This will give you better leverage/access.
