    Carpets installed, finally....

    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...ad.php?t=10855

As you can see from the first tread this took some time to get started, but when I finally did the job it took me two days incl. removing and reinstalling the interior. Some of the pieces was he.. to install, especially the rear wheelhouse pieces. I will also have to reglue the vinyl pieces that goes in behind the weather stripping in the font door post, should not be a big problem now that the glue on the rest of the footwell pocket piece has cured.

Last pic is from removing the old original carpet.

Have a nice easter, I am leaving with kids and wife up to the cabin for some skiing and solving crossword pussles.......

    Hi John,

Nice job, looks great. Where did you buy that carpet?

dhopkins; read all the tread you can find both here and at Pelican. I also found a manual on Pelican tech pages. Take pictures when you remove the old carpet. Use the best glue, 3M spray glue nr.90. In total I found three different manuals, I have them stored and can send them to you by email if you want.

Alan; Tony at Autobahn, read the link at the top of this post. After I received them I compared them to the original S carpets, perfect match, not just in fabric, but also in carboard backing, rubber insert etc.!!

Please ask if I can help you with anything.
