    The good news is they're the same all the way to the late 80's (perhaps all the way to '89).

    Ummm, no they're technically not.

    69 to I believe 71 would be the upholstered metal frame, not the foam formed type. My 70 has the upholstered type. The end shape is noticably different. At least to my eyes. Maybe some one with 72 or 73s verify?
