What's this T really worth? Isn't the fan shroud supposed to be yellow?

Ringmeister,
T shrouds came in both black and yellow. I have seen both on T cars.
They're kidding, right?
I'd happily part with my '72 T Coupe for half of that
Cheers!

1972 PORSCHE 911 T COUPE
Light Yellow with Black interior and Black/Grey German square weave carpeting, Fully Restored, 5 speed manual.
This 911 T (with several S options) was restored completely in Switzerland from a 90,000 kilometer/55,000 miles, numbers matching original example. It is an exceptional restoration with all receipts and photo documentation for the entire process.
This 911 Coupe is cool, cool, cool and as good as they come, it is expensive but worth every penny if you want an early 911 in as new or better condition.
$85,000.00
Hell, at $85K, why not just pony up another $21K for a 997 GT3?,

Go ahead and buy it and if it truely is a 72 then start looking for the correct
Rocker trim
front and rear lights
Horn grilles
Front rubber moulding
Rear bumperettes
ETC
ETC
Should only add another $5000 to get it perfect and correct
Begs the question who restored it and what else is wrong in the important bits.

I find it interesting that they have a 1973 911S Targa for 75K yet have this 1972 911T priced at 85K? The T is a nice car, but I just can't see the reason for the high price. Good for them if they get it!

I can't tell from the pics if it has the side oil door. I was about to say it was missing it's MFI but it's Euro car.

Aiming for the Euro market? How much is that in Euro? 40k Euro?Originally Posted by nckzck
85K US dollars = 63.5K Euro's, or about 43k British Pounds. It's unfortunate the US Dollar is so weak.
