    1967 911S Soft Window Targa

    Nope, not one of mine...

But a pretty good looking project, numbers matching per my guess after reviewing the Early S Registry database..

    Eric,

Is that the correct look for that zip-out window? The shape of the window looks very awkward to me ..... but I don't, nor have I ever owned one. I see that you have a couple, so I thought I'd ask.

Regarding the rear window, yes, it's incorrect, but you would probably be replacing anyway. Southbound in the UK, and Tony's in the US have the correct pattern.

I would make sure that the correct latch mechanisms are in place for the targa window latching. Also, I don't think he has the below door deco, I've asked. That's $$ to replace and locate. See if he has the correct chromed door handle endcaps for the inside,... its a little silver cap that fits over the plunger to open the door. I can't see them in the pic. The dash is going to have to be redone, but that's relatively easy in a 67. It appears that all the other stainless trim is correct and present on the inside of the car. Ask if there is a small trim strip right where the body meets the targa bar, these are NLA.

Steve, I did send you a separate email regarding pics of the car.

    regards,
    Eric
