    Interesting SWB with rear flares

It's rare to see a SWB with flares so I always look to see how they are done. I have not seen them done this way before.

Hmmm interesting - almost like a Dino flare. I don't see how they add much room for rubber though - also an awkward bumper tie-in as well as making the rear very out of character with the front.

Looks like they were taken from another car or are home made.
There is no attempt to blend them into the fender itself.

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

Despite the odd flares seems it to be interesting car, 303693 makes it an early 66. It has a 68S engine, (5.5?) Fuchs wheels and seems to be in a solid condition. Good candidate for an easy restoration?

    No affiliation, etc.

Another example of a SWB with flares:

The black car is nice. What's unique about the SWB is that the rear is centered within the wheel well. The LWB wheel is not centered and placed a little further forward within the wheel well. This example further demonstrates the inconsistency in adding rear flares to a SWB.

I just picked this 67 up and the flairs are done quite nice the car was crashed and someone welded a newer stille front clip on it so it's a SWB carrera clone if you will fixing some rust and repainting lime green should be fun for a beater
