This is your opportunity to own a classic at a fraction of its original price. Many consider the 993 Twin Turbo to be the last real Porsche. With over 400hp and 400-lb. ft of torque, this is one of the greatest super cars for the street. The truly visceral feel of the turbos spooling up is like nothing else!
It is getting harder and harder to find a close to concours 993 Turbo that has been maintained like this one. We have known this car and owner for the past 6 years and have never found anyone to care for a car as much as this owner did. Within the last 10,000 miles, everything mechanically has been freshened up on the car. The following was performed:
Rebuilt Engine by Beverly Hills Porsche
o Complete motor disassemble and rebuild
o New camshafts
New Porsche factory turbos installed by Stuttgart Automotive
New power steering rack
Front Strut Brace
Rebuilt A/C system and climate control
New factory windshield
Turbo Oil Line Repair (most common problem with 993 TTs) by Tony Callas at Rennsport
New drive belts and alternator belt
New ignition system and spark plug wires
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Tires replaced less than 3k miles ago
New Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Lightweight Dual Mass Flywheel by Stuttgart
Whoever buys this car is literally buying a 10,000-mile car mechanically. All of the work listed here are common (and expensive) repair items that usually have to be addressed on these cars. Nearly $30,000 was spent!
The car looks stunning in its original Midnight Blue Metallic, which is a very rare color on a Turbo. This turbo has never been in an accident and only had the hood and front bumper repainted due to normal road chips. One of the top Ferrari paint shops in Los Angeles did the paintwork to ensure a perfect match.
Paris Audio of Los Angeles installed a very nice Nakamichi sound system with CD Changer.
The custom Fikse Mach V 3-piece forged wheels (8.5x18 and 11x18) have zero curb-rash and are in excellent shape..
This car came with some great options:
Standard Turbo Equipment
o Cruise Control, Litronic lights, etc.
Lumbar Support
Supple Leather Front and Rear
Full Carbon Fiber package
This car also had some great Porsche options installed afterwards:
Carbon fiber shift knob
Carbon fiber e-brake handle
Polished aluminum instrument gauge bezels
Bilstein shocks (front and rear)
M030 Factory (European) Suspension
Corner balance/Alignment by Johnson alignment.
Custom FabSpeed Exhaust system with optional Bypass pipes
Lightweight Clutch/Flywheel
(The Carbon Fiber Steering wheel is not included with the car and the original steering wheel will be reinstalled before delivery)
Recently, the car was thoroughly inspected by Tony Callas at Rennsport. Anything significant was taken care of. The bill was almost $2,500. Here were the compression/leakdown results:
Compression: Cyl#1: 150 / Cyl#2: 150 / Cyl#3: 150 / Cyl#4: 150 / Cyl#5: 150 / Cyl#6: 160
Leakdown: Cyl#1: 4% / Cyl#2: 2% / Cyl#3: 4% / Cyl #4: 3% Cyl#5: 150 / Cyl #6: 3%
All books and keys are included.
