You are not giving us much to go on ...
Hopefully you had your air cleaner on and water didn't get into your carbs....

The first thing I'd do is lift your distributor cap off, turn it upside down, and dry it out with paper towel and air....

    Hope this helps,

    Let us know what's up...

dry out all the plug wires and connections

You might want to run a little "fuel system drier" in your next tank of gas.
I have been told it can help remove excess moisture from the fuel system. I've never had to use it myself. Anyone out there have any experience with this stuff? Does it work? Does it have any negative impact on parts, lines, carbs, etc?

If all else fails, park it so the engine compartment is facing the sun and let it dry out for an afternoon or two.

Also try cleaning the spark plug wires at the sparkplugg end. Use airgun or wd40

Edit: I did not see Sacto's answer.

    I don't wash my cars.

    Tom

PS: Large contractor bag layed across the engine before washing is a good idea on the early cars.

Trash bag is a good practice

Leave a little bit of it sticking out so you NEVER forget to take it out when you are finished. I haven't done it myself but, I have had the fun of helping a friend dig the bit of plastice out of his fan and belts and EVERYPLACE else you can imagine.
