    hi christian, i only read the term "ferrari seat" for this model in B. Johnson's "restorer guide". otherwise I have not found any source for such a name. As far as I know, the seat didn't have a name either. it was usually called "unsprung" competition seat by porsche itself.

    Unsprung seats

    Surprisingly, the “Ferrari” seats are very comfortable. I preferred them over the sport seats from that time period.

    I've got a couple of early Scheel GRP seats and at 11.5 lbs they cut a bit of weight out of the cabin.

    I`ve removed both left & right side Recaro seats......and am now ready to sell the pair. 100% original black vinyl with wide black cord and NO ISSUES at all!.....all hardware present.

    The Speedster seat is now in my 66 912......I love it! Speedster seats are my fav.
