yes, the dial is nothing special - there was also. but my collecting area ends with the autmechanika 1973 (1965-1973). so unfortunately i don't know exactly what the later stuff is. pic is from 1974....

Very cool seat Uwe, thank you for sharing! I have now bought a Rallye 2 and will hunt for an early Idealsitz for passenger side.

This seat from 1971 (allegedly) actually looks a bit more modern (or advanced).
This fabric most likely has the same colour combination as the one in the ad, Uwe.
I agree that the 1974 Idealsitz would be perfect together with your Rally II from the same year, 91167Coupe. Do you know whether it is possible to buy new fabric of the same kind? Or would you rather have them redone in black corduroy? I wouln'd mind having colourful seat covers in my 1973, as they appear to be period correct.
Einar
the ideal seat LS is definitely not from 1971. So the text is wrong here.

Here are my Recaros in my 72 911.
Bought the seats back in day when I wore plaid bellbottoms...LOL
They are original and still look brand new....
very nice and in great condition - congratulations. but you certainly didn't go to the store in 1972 with your bell-bottoms to buy these seats ;-) more like a few years later
do the pants still fit you today?
regards uwe
