Picked up the 911R seats (Scheel 300 maybe or?) recently to put in my 67S for a bit of a fun change. The previous owner's father purchased them in the 80's and were put in to storage in the late 90s and just taken out recently for the sale. There is some good patina on the brass grommets and the upholstery is a little worn in a couple of spots but otherwise good and I'm sure will clean up nicely. The mount and sliders are decent but need to be cleaned up too. I do not think sliders are original but should work fine. They seem too old to be made by any of the current seat replica manufacturers, although they look identical to TRE R seats. Any thoughts on the seats?

hi joschkras, nice seats. if you hold an original r-seat in your hands, you can see at first glance that it is a reproduction. replicas of these seats but also of the recaro buckets already existed in the 80s. at least what you see deviates from the original in details. nevertheless, as I said, nice seats.

I recently installed these repro R's from Vintage Seats and love them. They finish off the interior nicely.

These came with my 1971 911S Targa. Are they original or were they added later? The car has been with my family since the early 90s and we haven't added them.

Those are aftermarket and not original to either your Targa or the year of your Targa.
