Need Part number for plugs in Engine compartment

Reviewing the PET for a '73 I am unable to determine what parts I need to order to fill the gaps between the corners of the engine firewall and the frame. The areas are sort of pie shaped and are only visible from underneath the car. I have all the proper seals around the rest of the engine, but these two pieces (hardened foam????) are eluding me. Here is a link to the PET https://techinfo.porsche.com/techinf...73_KATALOG.pdf

    Thanks in advance

    Nick,

I bet you are correct. They look like bricks (probably deformable bricks) but are called 'straps'. Go figure! What counts is that you helped find them.

Now to see if there is a ghost of a chance they are still available!

    Thank you sir.

No surprise that my fear was realized since my local dealer says it is 'NLA'. Don't know if prying old ones out of dead cars would be viable. Any ideas for a substitute which will not retain water?

The 73 ones are more foam like than the pre 72 ones. They normally fall apart when being removed due to 35 years of heat from the motor.

What are people using as a suitable replacement? High density foam, spray in foam? I just don't want anything which holds water.
