    Radio for my '69?

    I'm begining the quest for a radio for my '69. What sort of things do I need to know to be able to install something that is fairly close to period correct? A friend has a Blaupuntk out of a'70 but asked about the shape of the opening in my dash. It's just one big opeing, no seperate holes for knobs. He seemed to think I would need a specific mounting plate.

    Any advice would be apprecited.

    The radio's are held in by clips on either side .

    You should have no problem as their are plenty of DIN spec radios from the era around. And as you've already discerned you need the hardware which should not be too hard to come by.
