    side stripes

I will be placing P O R S C H E side stripes on my 72S and am trying to get definitive location information. Any help (and photos) would be appreciated.

Since location differs based upon who applied them, you may want to find some factory pics of factory applied stripes on a new car of that era.

I consulted several books and came up with the following... can't say they are absolutely correct, but they are correct enough for an non-concourse car.

I placed mine a bit lower with the bottom stripe on the sill instead of the door.

    This is the correct placement.

Bonus if your car can fly.

So the stripes go over the jack hole on the side?

I did this instead just because I think it looks good:

    Per the factory

Original 68 stripes. Would you like some measurements? I also believe the measurements are in one of the manuals? I seem to recall coming across them once.
