Stay off www.early911s.com for a while

A hacker has attacked the classified section of early911s.com. When you click on to the classifieds, all of the car ads have been replaced with "boot-leg" sex and Child porn links.

This was discovered by a friend (looking for a long hood) on Friday evening. I would have thought that early911s.com would have fixed that page by now but it is appears to be still up.

The problem is that when clicking quickly, the writing is a faint yellow similar to "ebay Watched Item Ending Soon:" and if you're not paying close attention, you're on the porn link before you can catch your mistake.

This probably triggers those unwanted and traceable cookies to be dropped into your system.

I corresponded once with the guy who owns that site but it was a couple of years ago and don't know how to reach him now. He has it set up where it essentially runs itself and I got the impression he goes for days, even weeks at a time without looking at it himself.

My guess is he doesn't even know about it. Somebody that knows him will probably let him know soon enough.

It seems that the host of the site has corrected the hackers vandalism
and the classified section is back to normal ....... for now.
