If that car is the otis chandler car then someone has stamped new numbers on the engine or lied because the Otis chandler car was clearly advertized as a non-matching numbers car.

    Matching numbers

If memory serves, the Chandler car had a restamped engine case? That's what I recall, not 100% sure. However, I did a google search of this Chassis number, and it is definitely the same car.

    From the Brochure

I saved the link to the original brochure.

"inspection during cataloging has raised some concern over the originality of the engine number."

Shall we wait until it gets to $275,000? OR 'out' it now?

The catalog description of the car and whether the engine is original is misleading. Its either original or not, and whoever wrote the description seems to be skirting the obvious truth that it isn't original to the car (just like the ebay seller who obviously also knows but isn't saying)

    The worst

It SEEMS to me, to be the WORST of both worlds. IF it is NOT the original engine, but a RE-STAMPED CASE with the original engine number, AND UNDISCLOSED AS SUCH, well, THAT'S JUST WRONG!
