Thinking of Selling My '67 SWB

I have my eye on another car and I need to sell one of mine. I'm thinking of selling this one:

    Yikes, I agree.

And if I can steal a nearby quote...

John, Will you still do the New England 1000 in May? I will be there with my '68 and look forward to seeing you and the car.

Dammit, where were you when I was shopping for a hotrod last fall?! That is one sweet car. Dare I ask how much you will be asking? You can PM me with numbers if you like. Thanks. Nice car.

    '67 Swb

I'm not trying to tease anyone with my message that I'm thinking about selling my '67 SWB. I'm just trying to see what the level of interest would be should I decide to sell it.

My situation is that I have four Porsches currently and that's all I have the room for, both in terms of space and $$$. And now I find myself having made a deposit on a '74 Euro Carrera 2.7, the poor man's RS. The Euro 2.7's are an itch I've wanted to stratch for a long time - I actually like the look with the high bumpers.

Anyway, I will need to sell one of the four cars that I own in order to move forward with the Euro 2.7. Which is a hard decision, because I *really* like each of them.

I have received many indications of interest in my '67 SWB. I will respond to each individually in the next day or so. And if I decide to sell it I will post that here with full information.

    Cheers,
    John

    Decided to Keep the SWB

I have had seller's remorse so many times in the past that I wanted to be really careful this time. I took my SWB out for a spirited drive yesterday and again this morning. That did it -- I've decided to keep it.

I'm still going to move forward with the purchase of the '74 Euro 2.7 Carrera, but I'm going to sell something else. Most likely my 993. I love it, but 993's are easier to replace than any of my other three cars.

    Thanks to everyone who responded.

Very good decision, John.....I think we've all been there and I,for one, have made some bad choices in the past about selling cars that we'd never replace. My worst "bad choice" of selling - RSR (real) in '87. What a bozo decision.
