    I purchased 3 pairs of gears, including and S, last year for $300. The others were an M and X.

    What is the current market price for a S 901 gear set...
    It depends on the ratios (an S only has a different 5th? as compared to the 902/1?) and condition of the gears. Nice single gears do on average $125 for the common ratios up to $350for the more rare ones.
